General

As well as reading through this section, we would urge you to read through our Google and Tripadvisor Reviews - that's the best source of independent information.

What to bring

Towels, toothbrush and toothpaste. A torch. Boots & sandals (it is Cornwall).. Optionally, a cool box for your chilled goods (we will recharge your ice blocks). We are completely off grid so if you need to, bring power banks to charge your phone.

Accessibility

Please note: the site is sloping and is not suitable for those with mobility issues. Please contact us before booking to discuss any concerns you may have.

Vehicles

The lanes in the Tamar Valley (like in many other parts of Cornwall) can be very narrow, so bringing a campervan is not a good idea. Maximum vehicle size is really a SWB Ford Transit (or equivalent).

Mobile Phones

There is good reception in most areas.

Dogs

We are a dog friendly site. We do not charge for dogs, but we ask that they be kept on a lead, and that owners clear up after them.

Play

Kids are welcome - and the vast majority of kids really enjoy themselves. But there's no TV on site and no space for ball games - but again: please read our Reviews!

Peacefulness

You might hear one or two cars per hour, but that's it. The glampsite is surrounded by trees and woodland, so you won't hear your neighbours in their tents (we do require people to keep the volume on their media players down low).

We have dark skies in the Tamar Valley, so when the skies are cloud free, the view of the heavens is amazing.
