Cotehele
This National Trust property is the ancestral home of the Edgcumbe family. The property consists of the house, orchard, mill and quay. The Tudor House is full of tapestries and furniture to take a step back in time. At times there is also a ferry that takes you up the River Tamar. Also only a one mile walk from the campsite.

Tamar Trails
Multiple trails within the Tamar Valley, some running along the Tamar River. There is also the Tamar Trails Centre with a cafe and bike hire. Also has a tramper for hire, the all terrain mobility scooter.

Tamar Valley line
A great scenic railway linking Gunnislake to Plymouth. You can walk to Calstock station from the campsite (some hills) where the train takes you over the viaduct.
